Dobson Fiber commits to fiber internet expansion for residents in Broken Arrow

OKLAHOMA CITY — December 16, 2024 – Dobson Fiber announces another multi-million-dollar expansion of its fiber internet offering with a groundbreaking in Broken Arrow, Okla. today with city officials and business leaders. 

“Having served Oklahomans since 1936, we are excited to introduce the Broken Arrow community to the most advanced fiber network with the fastest residential speeds available nationwide. Our network deployments are initially designed to deliver up to 10 gigabits per second to residents we serve. This same network will be capable of delivering 100 gigabits within the next five years,” said Dobson Fiber’s CEO, Francisco Maella. “Our commitment to launching innovative products and the latest technology is unwavering to the residents and businesses we serve.”

Construction of the network will be completed in geographic zones. Once each zone is nearing completion, residents will be notified when they can begin to sign up for service. Dobson’s website allows you to input your address and get notified if your address is on their fiber build-out plan at dobson.net. If you register your address and contact information online, they will reach out when your address is ready for installation.

Today, Dobson Fiber’s network includes more than 38 communities across a wide geographic area in Oklahoma and five diverse communities in Arkansas and continues its mission of delivering broadband solutions to both rural and urban communities alike.
